In 2019, the Swedish brand Koenigsegg unveiled the new Jesko. The Jesko would become the replacement for the well-known and popular Agera series. The Jesko produced a nice 1600 hp and could therefore theoretically drive well over 400 km per hour. I say theoretically, because Koenisgegg has never concretely reported this and they have never tested it. Pretty crazy you'd say, but Koenigsegg didn't think so. What turns out afterwards? They had a faster execution planned! This was the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut unveiled in 2020. The basis of the car is still a Jesko and you can still recognize it in it. Yet you soon see that the Absolut is different; the front is smoother, the rear is longer and it lacks a giant rear wing. Instead of the rear wing, we see two wings on top that are very similar to the 2017 'shark fins' from Formula 1. The Jesko Absolut does not deliver more power than the normal Jesko, but it is aerodynamic and much more developed and with only 1 goal in mind: the limit of 500 km/h. Time will tell if and when this will be achieved, currently the car is not the problem but a suitable location and tires that will last at this speed have yet to be found.
Fortunately, Koenigsegg already knows a lot of fans and they will all eagerly look forward to the day when Koenigsegg makes it too. Fortunately, there is always the scale model for the fans who think that takes a little too long. This is the first version of the Jesko Absolut and it is an amazing model.
